INTO THE LIGHT interactive exhibition

Transmedia
Based on a hypothetical exhibition editorial I did INTO THE LIGHT for six artists who explore different aspects of light. Bring it from a book to a spatial environment. My goal is to let visitors experience light with color in all of its spatial and sensory forms.

This immersive installation will be held in a museum. The goal is to offer a sensory experience while remaining poetic, playful, and aesthetic. Audiences would learn about each artist in a more connected way and explore light and colors through interactions and movement during the visit.

Artists: Carlos Cruz Diez, Iván Navarro, Bill Culbert, Olafur Eliasson, Anthony McCall, and James Turrell.

Ideal Space Reference
This exhibition is interacted with the audience’s actions and movements to generate light and color through visitors’ position and movement. Artist’s content will be digital and move based on visitors’ interactions.

Learning Outcome
This project challenged me to consider how to show an established book spatially, use an alternative method other than digital renders. Creating an interactive experience by working from color simulation to experiment with type, and two documentations in the end. I had fun working with the projector and camera to simulate interactions.
