INTO THE LIGHT
Transmedia
Based on a hypothetical exhibition editorial I did
INTO THE LIGHT for six artists who explore different aspects of light. Bring it from a book to a spatial environment. My goal is to let visitors experience light with color in all of its spatial and sensory forms.
The spatial installation has multiple transparent layers with contents for each artist in changing colored lights at an art museum. While viewing and interacting with this atmospheric installation, visitors would experience light with color in multiple spaces, and explore information for each artist in an interesting way.
Artists: Carlos Cruz Diez, Iván Navarro, Bill Culbert, Olafur Eliasson, Anthony McCall, and James Turrell.

Learning Outcome
This project challenged me to consider how to show an established book project in a spatial way, connecting those artists but keep them seperated at the same time. By trying different ways of imagining the space and organizing the boards, I had fun while manipulating colors and lights which creates different effects on the overlaid texts and shadows.
